Meet Hello Hossy® founders

What is Hello Hossy®?

Hello Hossy® is a brand of nice, punchy, full of colours, original and trendy caps for our babies and kids. Caps that both kids and parents like. It’s the first brand to focus 100% on designing stylish caps from 9months until 6 years old.

How the idea to launch this brand arose?

When our baby was born. It is not always easy to find cool accessories for kids. Whereas for adults we have plenty of choice. Caps are a good example: there are plenty for adults but for kids choice is limited. It was thus interesting to launch a cool accessory which differentiates from what we use to see in kids fashion. On the other hand we wanted to launch a family business altogether including both parents and our little one.

What differentiates you from the other caps brands?

Our prints. They are nice, modern and welcoming. Our story: a family story. Lots of parents buy Hello Hossy® because they like our story, what we are doing/trying to do, and like the idea of running a family business.

In real life are you more cool parents our bear parents?

Both!

A principle you had before becoming parents which has quickly disappeared ?

Hard to say. To be honest we don’t have principles. We follow our feelings and adapt to our little one’s needs. Each day is a new adventure full of surprises, smiles, cries (of course), sharing and lots of happiness.

Any advice for someone who would like to start his/her business?

Enjoy what you do! Be passionate about your idea to make it real the best way possible. There is not a unique right way to execute, just “try and learn”. You need to try, bounce back, persist, continue. At the end it is what our kids are doing everyday. They try, accept challenges, fall down, stand up, start again… this is the way they grow up.

Loulou In The Woods. Because they supply Hello Hossy® caps but also because the manager, Déborah, is so fun, very kind and super cool with kids and families who visit her shop.
